Traveller’s Joy presents “Awakening the Heart Flame” – a pilgrimage to Magical England – from October 22nd until Nov 3rd/2019. A 13-day journey of awakening, rekindling and remembering the creative fires within.

You are invited to join Shamanic Practitioners: “Lorriiii Dragon Dream” Folkins & Meg Moonbeam as well as founder and creator of Traveller’s Joy, Contemporary Grandmother Shaman Nancy Dancing Light Sherwood and fellow Shamanic Practitioners; Brenda Marita Mason ~ “Spirit Whispers” ,and Jeff Smyth on this powerful and healing journey of the Heart.

Our intention is to move into right relationship with the mystical hidden realms of spirit and the web of life. To remember that we belong to the Earth and that as we heal ourselves we also heal the Earth. To call ourselves back into wholeness and to welcome home all that we’ve exiled so we can step more fully into our power and bless the world with our magic/medicine.

During this time of Samhain, when the veils between the worlds are at their thinnest, we hope to connect with the Ancestors and Spirits of the Sacred Sites, asking for creative suggestions on how we might release all that keeps us from our greatest possibility. To connect deeply with the land of ancient Folklore, Myth and Legend. Of Merlin and Morgana, the Holy Grail (the Cauldron of Plenty), King Arthur & Guinevere, Faeries and Pixies, Dragons and Giants, Knackers, Knights and Elves, so as to awaken our inner sense of wonder and magic.  By walking, dancing, storytelling, drumming and singing we seek to better understand our roles for healing our collective Home, Mother Earth.

You are invited to join us as we activate our Dragon Eyes to see beyond our preconceptions and expectations. To see clearly in both, the Physical World ~ with all that can be touched and felt with our hands and feet and the Mysterious Worlds of intuition and instinct ~ with all that can be sensed and felt within our heart & soul. To strengthen our vision so as to make our dreams real in the world.

This trip may include occasional discomfort, sweat, faery laughter, spiritual warrior-ship, tenderness, feasting, grief, compassion, creativity, and wild joy. In other words, living fully, through the contributions of Celtic culture, lands and point of view, which will bring us more of what we need to know.

Itinerary

Oct 22: Arrive BEFORE NOON at London Heathrow Airport.

• Drive to Stratford-Upon-Avon (stopping to pick up groceries on our way) to our home for 4 nights the beautiful Stratford Holiday Let a 15 min walk or 5 min drive to historic town of Stratford-Upon-Avon.
• Opening Circle

Oct 23: Get acquainted with the area of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

• After lunch we visit Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall.
• Walk to Shakespeare’s Birthplace and grave.
• Dinner together in town
• Circle up

Oct 24: Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Gardens

• Lunch at Castle cafe.
• Afternoon Quiet Time
• 5:30 pm Dinner together in town.
• 7:30pm “King John” play at Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Price includes all ground-travel within England (including to and from Heathrow prior to 12:30 pm on Oct 22 and flights leaving late morning to evening on Nov 3/19), entrance fees and Tour & Circle facilitation, Ceremony, Contemporary Shamanic teachings, booking of shared accommodations at a discounted price (based on sharing a room with others; when there is a private bedroom available for people who want to sleep together in a double bed, we will try to make it happen, but cannot guarantee a private room). Fee does not include airfare which must be arranged and paid for by participants. All Flights must arrive before 12:30 pm in Heathrow on Oct 22nd.

Fee does not include Accommodations or Meals. Accommodations/meals will be paid by participants individually at the venues and/or prearranged catered Vegetarian meals as we travel. Accommodations to be paid in CAD. Participants will likely need an additional $1850 – $1950 CAN for expenses, such as accommodation, lunches and dinners depending on food tastes etc.

Self catered light vegetarian breakfast is included with accommodations. All other meals will be paid by travellers.

Our team of 5 leaders have previous pilgrimage experience together. Nancy Dancing Light Sherwood is the founder/owner of Travellers Joy with over 20 years experience leading Sacred Pilgrimage. Each leader is a seasoned shamanic/spiritual practitioner, and will be part of an energy shield of Dragon essence that we are creating for this trip.
