Elements Workshop

The Elements Workshop offers an opportunity to honour the manifestation of Light in our lives through the spirit and form of the elements. Earth, Water, Fire and Air are joined in a pentacle of sacred geometry by Spirit. During the workshop we create our own pentacle of manifestation by deepening our appreciation of and relationship to the elements. Participants are given an opportunity to spirit journey, dance, sound and create sacred arts, out of deep silence and sharing our stories. These practices help us embody the essence of the elements.

A site is carefully chosen where the steward of the land has demonstrated a deep connection to the dream of the land and our workshop brings energy to those dreams by assisting each individual to reconnect to his/her own creativity and to raise and direct group energy toward the larger vision of the place.

We always ask for the practice of giving back on a maintenance level that will also support the intentions of the steward. This grounds our spiritual practices and integrates the teachings .

Sundance as Mandala and as Pilgrimage

I began the sundance in the province of my grandfathers and grandmothers, New Brunswick. I went for my completion years to the Blood Reserve in Alberta, appreciating the plant allies, the mountains, and the Belly River near the grounds. Because the ceremony is so experiential I prefer to share the medicine in sundance preparation lodges or in the extended community of the dance.

My teachers, Karen and Keith Chiefmoon would appreciate people coming to support the dance themselves in order to learn from the ceremony itself.
