Lori is now taking over direction of Traveller’s Joy along with Breny Marita Mason.

Lori Folkins is an experienced Shamanic Practitioner, Seer, Drum Circle Facilitator, Intuitive Energy Worker/ Healer/ Channeler, Reiki Master/ Teacher and and Certified Sundoor Firewalk Instructor/ Empowerment Coach.

Named “Dragon Dream Spirit Healer” by her guides, Lori has always felt guided and protected by an inner light that continues to compel her to help others awaken their awareness to the Divine light and healing force that lives within and around all things. Lori believes that life is a creative manifestation of spirit. That we are thought flowing into form. That the most powerful creative force is ignited by conscious acts of Compassion and Love. That Generosity of the Heart, Reverence, Empathy and Respect for all living things are the keys to living healthy and abundant lives.

From a very young age Lori could see/feel Energy and Spirit and felt a deep appreciation for all of nature. For most of her adult life, Lori has been studying different Healing Modalities and loves to incorporate drumming, sound and song into her healing practice/ Ceremony.

Since 2009 Lori has been facilitating a bi-monthly Shamanic Drum Circle dedicated to Ceremony, Intentional Drumming and building Sacred Community.

Studying and practicing Shamanism since 2007 has led her on many adventures including to Arizona, California, Eastern Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Mexico, England, Scotland and Ireland with her Teacher, Contemporary Grandmother Shaman Nancy Dancing Light Sherwood as part of her Teacher Training for The Moving Mandala and to help lead tours with Traveller’s Joy. Lori also teaches an Introductory to Celtic Shamanism Course pioneered by Nancy.

Lori currently lives and practices in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada, where she is working closely with the Spirits of Place, the Ancestors, Elementals, Faeries and the Energies of Lake Ontario, Lake Erie and the mighty Niagara River.
