Us: The Places We Visit
In Sacred Britain
Bath:
Sacred to the goddess, the springs at Bath are believed to have been the site of worship from ancient times. There was evidence of a wooden temple there. Romans built their own baths and the waters continued to be considered a source of healing. She is celebrating her return with the Green Maid, Mother, Crone workshop that falls on Full Moon of April. By aligning our bodies and souls with the season and the site, we have the opportunity to experience the primeval energies of the Divine Feminine Earth.
London:
Encouragement by Eleanor Bigden to work in London as a centre of Light, led to creation of the Warrior, Teacher, Healer, Visionary workshop. We joining in circle to create an energetic shield for the capital of Britain (a country named for the goddess of the land) by first clearing our own energy fields and then shifting to encompass more Light.
In April 1997, when London’s trees were stressed by drought Nancy heard their message: water in Britain was going to be a major focus in the coming years, especially in the south east. By practicing rituals that would acknowledge its sprit attention might come to it and we would make better use of it. In 2008 we see the water message has reached many ears Scientific and Spiritual, and the groundswell of citizens of the British Isles and elsewhere are treating the future of water as being inseparable from ours. Nancy also heard through Turtle medicine that many tears had to flow, to loosen the grief of a nation and its scattered people in other places that had once been so in touch with the land and had lost some of that connection. Turtle suggested that the descendants of the Celtic culture had to come back to consideration of the earth and to remember its roots in earth based spiritual and environmental practices. Indeed reflection of the grassroots movement for sustainability is supporting change NOW.
